A Hose To Go With It
So now that you’ve got your CPAP machine and your mask, the next step is finding a hose to go along with it. The hose is an essential figure, as it is what connects the CPAP machine and the mask. Like the other products, there are a few you can choose from. So you want to make sure you’re getting the right one.
One of the most common selections is the standard hose. This tube is non-heated, and therefore not connected to a humidifier. Then there’s the heated CPAP tube that you would want if you are planning on using a humidifier. It makes sure that the air stays heated as it transports from the mask back to the machine. Then there’s also a slimmer CPAP tube that is much lighter than the standard hose, so you’re not feeling as weighted down over the course of a good night’s sleep.

When you’ve got a CPAP machine, it’s important to keep things clean. That’s where a CPAP cleaner comes into play. The cleaner will sanitize both the mask as well as the hose.
